The needles[2] were a formation of tall, relatively fragile rock spires on the planet Shuraden. During the High Republic Era, Jedi Master Sskeer brought his Padawan Keeve Trennis to the needles for her Jedi Trials, challenging her with locating a Tythonian pendant he had hidden atop one of the spires. A Ximpi city was located in the vicinity of the needles.[1]
