- "Not much is known of their history on the water-rich planet of Nepotis."
- ―An artist's journal entry on the Nephran
Nepotis was a water-rich planet[4] located in the Nepotis system of the Calaron sector,[3] a part of the Outer Rim Territories[1] and the Slice.[2] It was situated in grid square T-9 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]
Nepotis was the homeworld of the Nephran, a species of sentient crustaceans[4] who spoke the Nepotisian language.[5] The Nephran entrepreneur Therm Scissorpunch,[6] who was active[7] by 10 BBY,[8] hailed from Nepotis.[6] The world was eventually mentioned in an entry of an artist's journal dedicated to the Nephran. The entry noted that very little of the Nephran history on Nepotis was known. The journal was eventually restored, expanded, and displayed at the Graf Archive[4] at some point no earlier than 34 ABY.[9]
Behind the scenes[]
Nepotis was introduced in the 2018 reference book Star Wars: Alien Archive by Natalie Clubb and Katrina Pallant.[4]
