The Neutron Star-class bulk cruiser was a class of bulk cruiser utilized by various factions, including the Galactic Empire and the Alliance to Restore the Republic, during the Imperial Era.

The Neutron Star-class bulk cruiser was a class of highly customizable bulk cruiser manufactured by Rendili StarDrive that cost 2,800,000 credits to produce.[1] While initially utilized by the Galactic Empire, it was soon outgunned by the newer, more advanced models of capital ships and gradually phased out.[3] The Rebel Alliance however turned these vessels into carriers, which cost 2,871,000 credits and gave them the capability to carry thirty-six starfighters each.[1]
Role[]
The Neutron Star-class was once used as a planetary defense force vessel. In the Alliance to Restore the Republic, they were often converted into carriers and used when Mon Calamari Star Cruisers were not available.[1]

The Neutron Star-class was once popular and used by many planetary defense forces, but was then primarily used by mercenaries. During the Imperial Era, the Alliance to Restore the Republic added the bulk cruisers to their arsenal and converted them into carriers, assigning them to the Rebel Alliance Starfighter Corps.[1]
