Nick Dudman was the Live Action Creature Effects Supervisor for several Lucasfilm productions such as Star Wars and Indiana Jones. He helped create Yoda and worked on make-up for The Empire Strikes Back.
Character naming[edit | edit source]
The Swokes Swokes species was named after Dudman's wife, Sue Oakes.
He also named Jedi Master Plo Koon. Dudman's son was called Plonkoon during the first year of his life and George Lucas crossed out the 'n' naming Plo Koon.
