Nick Pemberton was one of the designers for the helmets worn by the stormtroopers featured in Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. Alongside Liz Moore, Pemberton crafted the initial models for the helmets from the specifications given to them by Ralph McQuarrie and John Mollo. Eventually, it was one of Pemberton's designs that would be chosen by George Lucas to be used in the production of A New Hope.[1]
