- "You haven't aged a day in thirty years, Nico. What's your secret?"
"Livin' right. And a little relic I found on Korriban. It's not important." - ―The Commander and Nico Okarr on Zakuul, 3631 BBY

Nico Okarr, looking the same in 3631 BBY as he did 50 years prior
Sometime prior to 3631 BBY,[1] smuggler captain[2] Nico Okarr acquired an ancient Sith artifact on Korriban.[1] In a discussion with the Commander, Okarr implied that the possession or use of this artifact had enabled him to forestall the effects of aging-mediated decay to some degree and provided him some semblance of artificial longevity.[1] The potency of the artifact's power was such that the Outlander observed that Okarr looked exactly the same in 3631 BBY during the height of the Galactic War[1] as he had decades earlier.
Behind the scenes[]
Though never explicitly confirmed as such, it is possible this relic was one of those acquired by Farel Wickes on Korriban and traded to Okarr immediately prior to the events of the Return cinematic trailer.[3] It is implied that Okarr escaped aboard his freighter with his illegally acquired Sith artifacts in tow after delivering Satele Shan and Jace Malcom to Coruscant following the Battle of Korriban.
