- "Some warriors become scourges of evil, living weapons who serve the light. Others become stalwart defenders, guardians who protect and shield others."
Nimi was a male Mirialan Jedi Master who served the Jedi Order during the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire. Olive-skinned and largely bald, Nimi wore his remaining black hair in a knot behind his head. He had blue eyes and black facial tattoos, and wore tan and white robes. An acquaintance of Master Orgus Din, Nimi was aboard Carrick Station in 3643 BBY, when Din's former Padawan—just elevated to Jedi Knight—arrived on the space station. Nimi discussed the Jedi's potential with the Knight, but advised the Jedi to choose one of two disciplines: the path of either the Jedi Sentinel or the Jedi Guardian. Recognizing both disciplines' benefits, Nimi instructed the Knight to speak with Master Cassa Hun for further training. Nimi also spent time on the Republic capital of Coruscant.
Behind the scenes
Nimi introduces the mission "Advanced Training: Jedi Knight" for Jedi Knight players who have just completed the planet Tython in the 2011 video game Star Wars: The Old Republic. Nimi can be found on both Carrick Station and Coruscant, but this article assumes the player spoke to Nimi at the first opportunity to do so.

Notes and references
- Star Wars: The Old Republic—Jedi Knight Mission: "Advanced Training: Jedi Knight" on Carrick Station
- Star Wars: The Old Republic about ten to twelve years after the signing of the Treaty of Coruscant, which is dated to 3653 BBY by Star Wars: The Old Republic Encyclopedia. The Old Republic—The Lost Suns 2 takes place ten years after the treaty, one week after the mission to Nar Shaddaa, and around the time of the SpecForce Incident. Since the mission and the incident are respectively part of Act I of the Jedi Knight and Republic Trooper's storylines, and the Trooper's Act I occurs concurrent to Act I of the Smuggler storyline, the general events of the Prologue and Act I for all classes can be assumed to occur in 3643 BBY. places
