The Nineteenth Army, also known as Dark Saber Command, was a Republic and later Imperial Sector Army charged with the defense of the Javin Oversector. It was commanded by Moff Sulamar.[1]
During the Clone Wars, the 19th Sector Army fought in a number of battles against the Separatists while the latter advanced from Kinyen to Bomis Koori IV along the Corellian Trade Spine. Ultimately, the Sector Army managed to retain control of Kriselist, which sat at the junction between the Corellian Trade Spine and the D'Aelgoth Trade Route.[1]
