Nirauan was an astronomical object located in Wild Space, in grid square I-5 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]

Nirauan was first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in the galactic map included in Star Wars: The Force Awakens Beginner Game,[1] an August 2016[2] Fantasy Flight Games Star Wars Roleplaying boxed set.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the planet Nirauan first appeared in the 1997 novel Specter of the Past, written by Timothy Zahn,[3] and it was first visually depicted in the 2000 reference book The Essential Chronology.[4]
