"Nix, my second, got himself on the wrong side of an airlock."
―Transmission from Band Light[3]

Nix was a male experienced fringer who was one of the crew on the vessel Band Light during the reign of the Galactic Empire. He and the rest of the crew found a derelict Etti-class light transport drifting near the planet Ord Mantell[2] at some point before or during 1 BBY.[1] Nix, along with the other crew members, went aboard the transport. Nix, however, was killed by an Imperial Terror Trooper. When his body was found in the vacuum of space outside of an airlock, it was thought by the captain and other crew members that he had died by accident.[2]

Nix was first mentioned in the "Terror Trooper" entry in the in-game databank of the PlayStation 3/Xbox 360 versions of the LucasArts video game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, which was released on October 26, 2010.[3]
