The Norikus gang was a gang led by an Octeroid male during the High Republic Era that prowled the lower levels of Coruscant. The gang had many members, some of whom included the Octeroid ringleader, a long-limbed Lepi, and a female Nephran with tattooed pincers. The gang often physically intimidated Coruscanti civilians on the lower levels into giving the gang any items the civilians had on them. During the Solstice Tide season of 232 BBY, the Norikus gang was intimidating Nittel Karkson in an alley on Coruscant level 4000. While trying to take Karkson's goods, the gang was confronted by Jedi Master Stellan Gios. Gios presence caused most of the gang members to flee, while the Octeroid ringleader engaged the Jedi. Gios quickly sliced the Octeroid's twin blasters in half with his lightsaber, causing him to also flee.[1]
