- «They couldn't have been waiting here unless they had ships waiting at all four of our possible destinations.»
- ―Captain Roscu
Noris was an astronomical object located in the Chiss Ascendancy, the nation of the Chiss species in the Unknown Regions.[1] In 18 BBY,[2] after discovering at least six warships belonging to the Grysk species' coordinator "Jixtus"'s fleet near the Gem area of the Junkyard asteroid field in the Rhigal system, the Clarr light cruiser Orisson of the Clarr family fleet journeyed to the planet Ornfra under orders of Clarr family Patriarch Clarr'ivl'exow "Rivlex." There, the Orisson was engaged by the FateSpinner, a Shatter-class WarMaster of Jixtus' fleet. Captain Clarr'os'culry "Roscu" of the Orisson wondered if they had been followed from Rhigal but knew that, once the Orisson had made the jump to hyperspace, the alien warship could not have known the Clarr starship's destination as there were multiple celestial bodies along that vector, with Noris being one of them.[1]
