After the Sith Lord Darth Vader killed the former Jedi Master Eeth Koth and his Imperial Inquisitors took Koth's newborn daughter, Vader handed the baby Zabrak over to two nursemaids upon their arrival at the Inquisitorius Headquarters on the planet Coruscant. These two individuals were members of the Kallidahin species and wore red clothing.[1]

These nursemaids first appeared in the 2018 canon comic book Darth Vader: Dark Lord of the Sith 19: Fortress Vader, Part I, written by Charles Soule and illustrated by Giuseppe Camuncoli.[1] Soule called the characters "the Nursemaids" in his script, though it was not official.[2]
