Following the loss of his previous Eta-2 during the Battle of Coruscant, Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi piloted a blue Eta-2 Actis-class light interceptor prior to the Battle of Utapau.[2]

History[]

After discovering that General Grievous was hiding on Utapau, the Jedi High Council requested for Master Obi-Wan Kenobi to hunt down the general. Having lost his red Eta-2 Actis-class light interceptor and his astromech droid R4-P17 during the Battle of Coruscant, Obi-Wan acquired a brand new blue Eta-2 for the mission, along with a new astromech droid, R4-G9. Kenobi decided he would head to the planet first to keep Grievous distracted until Clone Commander Cody and the 212 Attack Battalion arrived on the Vigilance. Kenobi docked his starfighter with a Syliure-45 hyperdrive module and entered hyperspace on course for Utapau.[2]

Upon arriving at Pau City, Kenobi requested some fuel for his starfighter from port administrator Tion Medon. After learning that Grievous was indeed on Utapau, Kenobi told R4 to take the starfighter back to the Vigilance and tell Cody that he had engaged the general. Kenobi watched as R4 and his starfighter left the planet. Kenobi would later use Grievous's Belbullab-22 heavy starfighter, Soulless One, to escape the planet after narrowly surviving Order 66.[2]

Crew[]

The starfighter was piloted by Obi-Wan Kenobi, who also functioned as its captain. Kenobi's new astromech droid R4-G9 functioned as the ship's navigator and repairer should it get damaged in combat.[2]
