The observation droid was a model of probe droid manufactured by Arakyd Industries.[1] It was utilized by a multitude of factions during the Clone Wars, including the Galactic Republic,[2] the Pyke Syndicate,[4] and the Zygerrian Slave Empire.[3] A sentry droid model used by the Galactic Empire was visually similar[5] to the observation droid.[2]
