Old-fashioned protato salad was a lunch side at Dex's Diner on the planet Coruscant[1] prior to the eatery's destruction during the first two years of the Galactic Empire's reign.[2] Made with protatoes, the salad was sold for 2.7 credits and was made in a style that was considered old-fashioned.[1]

Old-fashioned protato salad was introduced in "Dining at Dex's," a 2009 Hyperspace-exclusive article which was written by Gregory Walker and formatted as an in-universe menu.[1]
