Omar Berenko was a famous and controversial Human male Naboo poet who was the former owner of the country house at Varykino centuries before the fall of the Old Republic. He was mysteriously kidnapped by unknown attackers at the same spot where Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala were secretly wed at the start of the Clone Wars. He was never seen or heard from again. Of Berenko's most famous works, his poem, "Defense of Naboo", was considered by many to be disturbing yet imaginative.

Behind the scenesEdit

Omar Berenko was mentioned in the article Supernatural Encounters: The Trial and Transformation of Arhul Hextrophon, however the article was never officially published. The related information that was to be published in the article is outlined below.

Omar Berenko was at one time purported to be the creator of the famed holoshort, The Fourth Precept. Varying reports attributed the popular film to other artists such as Felloux and Asenec, though it was ultimately recognized as a work produced by Soshu Londahl by the Historical Council in the wake of the Second Galactic Civil War.[1]
