"I sent the omega alert. Only half our field agents responded. I'm telling you, we're compromised!"
―Special Agent Tander[src]

An omega alert, also known as alert level omega, was a code broadcast by the Republic Strategic Information Service, the Galactic Republic's intelligence agency, that ordered all active agents to immediately respond, regardless of their current activities. Special Agent Korol Tander sent an omega alert on the moon Nar Shaddaa when he believed that their operations had been compromised by the Sith Empire during the Cold War between the Republic and the Empire, and he was alarmed to receive responses from only half of the active agents.[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

The omega alert was first mentioned in Star Wars: The Old Republic, a video game released by BioWare and LucasArts in 2011, during the Jedi Knight class mission "The Power Guard Project" on Nar Shaddaa.
