- "The Aqualish have been on the twin worlds for a long time. Our old buildings can be found at several places, now a day mostly in ruins. We don't care so much about them, they are part of an old history that we try to forget."
- ―Omkoo, to a spacer
Omkoo was an Aqualish male who lived on Talus during the Galactic Civil War.
Biography[]
- "I've been informed of some thugs doing something near one of our oldest gravesites on Talus. I want you to go out there and investigate if they are indeed disturbing the dead and convince them to leave if so. Leave and never come back if you understand what I mean?"
- ―Omkoo, to a spacer
Omkoo was a descendant of Aqualish who settled on Talus long before the Galactic Civil War. After the Battle of Yavin, he resided in the city of Dearic.[1] In 1 ABY,[2] Omkoo was concerned by rumors of thugs vandalizing Aqualish gravesites.[1] As the local Federation of the Double Worlds authorities seemed indifferent to this situation,[3] the Aqualish hired a spacer at the Dearic Starport to investigate and stop disturbing the graves.[1]
The spacer traveled to one of the oldest Aqualish gravesites. There, the spacer did not find thugs but paramilitary forces of the Tralus and Talus Liberation Party,[1] a group fighting for the independence of the Double Worlds from the Corellian system.[4] Omkoo was disgusted to see the TTLP soldiers plundering the ruins, he ordered the spacer to kill them for their crime. The spacer and Omkoo then discovered that the TTLP had already shipped off some artifacts from the gravesite to the Nashal Starport, as well as to a weapons depot of the Rebel Alliance. The spacer visited those places and, after fighting again some TTLP soldiers, managed to retrieve all stolen artifacts. At the Rebel weapons depot, the spacer discovered information indicating that the TTLP provided weapons, medical equipment and stolen Aqualish artifacts to the Rebels in order to obtain their support.[1]
The spacer brought back the stolen Aqualish artifacts who was puzzled by the discoveries and did not figure out what the TTLP wanted with the old Aqualish society.[1]

Star Wars Galaxies: Rage of the Wookiees — Quest: "Grave Robbers" on Talus
- ↑ The opening crawl of Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided dates the game to after the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, and additionally, Serji-X Arrogantus, who died in Star Wars (1977) 10—the events of which The New Essential Chronology dates to 0 ABY—appears in the game. Therefore, at least a portion of Star Wars Galaxies must be set in that year. Furthermore, in the game Ruwan Tokai references the destruction of the Death Star as having occurred one year earlier, and Strongholds of Resistance also places the events of Galaxies' Chapter 9: "The Fury of Exar Kun" in 1 ABY. Lastly, while Chapter 11: "The Battle of Echo Base" features the Battle of Hoth—dated to 3 ABY by The New Essential Chronology—the developers have stated that the portrayal of that battle in the game is intentionally anachronistic. Therefore, the events of Star Wars Galaxies must span from 0 ABY to around 1 ABY.
