Ommin[2] was a male individual affiliated with the Sith who served as a king long before the time of the war between the First Order and the Resistance. He was recorded as having worn a mechanical spine known as an Ommin harness.[1]
Behind the scenes
Ommin was first mentioned in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: Expanded Edition, the 2020 novelization of the film of the same name.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, Ommin first appeared in the 1994 comic Tales of the Jedi: The Freedon Nadd Uprising 1, written by Tom Veitch.[3]
While the novelization does not explicitly provide the king's name,[1] the audiobook of the novelization uses a slight variation in wording, implying the Ommin harness was named after the king.[2]
