"I remember my first unit, the boys and I were sent to Onderon to bring peace to a troubled world."
―Alexsandr Kallus[4]

During the reign of the Galactic Empire, Saw Gerrera mounted an insurgency on his home planet of Onderon. The planet was severely destabilized by the conflict, leading to the Empire attempting to suppress the rebellion via the deployment of units such as Agent Kallus' platoon[4] as well as bombing rebel-held areas.[7]

  5. Star Wars: The Bad Batch begins with Order 66, an event that Star Wars: Galactic Atlas dates to 19 BBY. Battlefront: Twilight Company establishes that the Stormtrooper Corps was founded by clone commandos, an event that occured shortly before and during the fourteenth episode, "War-Mantle." Because Star Wars: Absolutely Everything You Need to Know dates the formation of the corps to nineteen years before the Battle of Yavin, an event that Galactic Atlas dates to 0 BBY, the Stormtrooper Corps was founded in 19 BBY, and "War-Mantle" takes place in the same year. "Return to Kamino" and "Kamino Lost" take place shortly afterwards, so they take place in approximately the same year.
