Operation Transom was a joint mission of the Galactic Republic's Military and Strategic Information Service that was conducted during the Galactic War era. Its goal was to free captured Republic troopers who were being sold as slaves on Nar Shaddaa. The mission was under the direct supervision of SIS Director Marcus Trant. Agent Theron Shan successfully freed soldiers being sold by the hutt slaver Morbo, however his actions caused the long-term SIS operation to fall apart.[1]
