The Oppressor was an Executor-class Star Dreadnought in the Imperial Navy during the Imperial Era. At a time when it was the newest Executor-class ship, the Oppressor prepared to test its hyperdrive in preparation for final deployment. At that time, it was only manned by a skeleton crew.[1]
Before the hyperdrive was tested, a group of Rebel Alliance members snuck aboard the Star Dreadnought, altered its hyperspace destination, and then escaped. This allowed the waiting Alliance Fleet to destroy the Oppressor.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
The Oppressor was mentioned in the 2020 Fantasy Flight Games sourcebook Starships and Speeders. The book includes an adventure seed for use with the Star Wars Roleplaying series, and this article assumes the scenario plays out as described.[1]
