An orchestra was a group of musicians that played musical instruments collaboratively. The Imperial Symphony Orchestra was a well known example.
The luxury liner Kuari Princess maintained an orchestra on board, who played smoothing subharmonic music in the Grand Ballroom while passengers danced at night.[1]
