During the early rebellion against the Galactic Empire, Red Squadron of the Rebel Alliance undertook a mission to the orbital scrapyard on Ord Biniir that was affiliated with pirates. The mission, Operation Buckler, was to steal Y-wing starfighters from the scrapyard for their own use. Under the leadership of Garven Dreis, the mission was successful.[1]
