Ord Zeuol[3] was a planet[4] in the Ord Zeuol system, a part of the Vilonis sector[1] in the Trailing Sectors portion of[2] the Mid Rim.[1] The planet served as an Ordnance/Regional Depot outpost for the Galactic Republic during the Pius Dea Era, a period of time that lasted between approximately 12,000 BBY and 11,000 BBY, despite being located outside the Republic's borders.[3]
By 19 BBY,[5] one of Ord Zeuol's natives, the Zeuol Senator Eeusu Estornii, served in the Republic's Senate.[6] She attended the funeral of the planet Naboo's Senator Padmé Amidala[7] in that year.[5]
Behind the scenes[]
Ord Zeuol was first mentioned in 2005's reference book Star Wars Chronicles: The Prequels, authored by Stephen J. Sansweet and Pablo Hidalgo.[8] In one instance in the StarWars.com Databank entry for Eeusu Estornii, the planet's name was misspelled as "Ord Zeoul."[6] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Ord Zeuol system, and thus Ord Zeuol itself, in grid square O-16.[2]
