"Out of Reach" is the third episode of the animated shorts series Star Wars Blips. It was released on June 27, 2017 on the Star Wars YouTube channel^[1]

Plot summary[]

The episode opens with BB-8 attempted to help R2-D2 reach a control panel in order to unlock a door. The droids are unsuccessful and fall over. C-3PO then arrives and easily unlocks the door. R2-D2 and BB-8 attempt to follow the protocol droid but the door shuts on the two astromech droids.
