A Paataatus attack fleet was part of the Paataatus species' government of the Paataatus Hiveborn located in the Unknown Regions.[1] In 18 BBY,[2] after Chiss Senior Captain Mitth'raw'nuruodo, core name "Thrawn," retrieved data from the Kilji picket cruiser Hammer on the Kilji species' battle fleet, the Illumine Kilhorde, and its design weaknesses and combat doctrines, he shared the data with the Hiveborn.[1]
The government, which had noticed the Kilhorde's operations near their borders, deemed the fleet's operations unacceptable, and sent the attack fleet to engage the Kilji force, destroying it. The loss of the Kilhorde made the ruler of the Kiljis, Generalirius Nakirre, useless to his Grysk ally "Jixtus," who killed the generalirius after Thrawn informed both of the Paataatus attack.[1]
