Palliduvans were a near-human species From the Wild Space planet Palliduva, characterized by their lanky frames, chalk-white skin, and long, bony fingers[1] used to draw blood.[6] Palliduvans included the bounty hunter Aurra Sing and the pirate Valik.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Palliduvans first appeared in the 1999 film Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace, the first installment of the Star Wars prequel trilogy.[2] They were first identified in the 2019 episode guide for "The Doza Dilemma," an episode of the television series Star Wars Resistance.[7]
In Star Wars Legends, Aurra Sing was a hybrid of a Human and near-Human species.[8]

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas and a number of maps in the current Star Wars canon (see a list here), stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. This article treats Palliduva as one such homeworld with regard to the Palliduvan species.
