Palob Godalhi was a popular local host for the radio station BSO 401.72, which was the most popular station in Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu during the war between the First Order and the Resistance. He played a mix of commercials, programs and interesting music on the station.[1]

In the new Star Wars canon, Palob Godalhi first appeared in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, which opened to guests at Disneyland on May 31, 2019. The character is not present in the park, but his voice can be heard in certain areas.[1] Godalhi originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where he first appeared in the 1998 novel Rebel Dawn, which was written by A. C. Crispin.[2]
His name is an anagram of Pablo Hidalgo.
