In 25,793 BBY, exiled Je'daii Daegen Lok and the Force Hound Xesh used parachutes to escape their Pho-V fighter which crashed on the planet Krev Coeur in the Tython system. Using the parachutes, they escaped the burning craft and made it safely to the surface.[1]
During the Galactic Civil War, a bounty hunter used a parachute and an ablative heatshield to rescue a child after the latter had wrestled a pirate out of a hatch. The bounty hunter used the equipment to dive from orbit to the surface of the planet Dantooine.[2]
