"Part Two" is the second episode of the animated television series LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy.[1] It was released on September 13, 2024.[2]

Official description[]

With Dev now a Sith, Sig must escape the new Fennesa. Help comes from Jedi Bob, a "Force Builder" who knows The Cornerstone's secrets.

Plot summary[]

Rescue and escape[]

At his fortress on Fennesa, Darth Devastator interrogates Sig Greebling and Yesi Scala, demanding that Sig tell him what he saw at the Jedi temple on Fennesa. He holds his two prisoners suspended in mid-air through the Force. Sig tries to tell Dev that they are brothers who are nerf herders. Scala is defiant and says they will not tell him anything. Devastator introduces his Sith apprentice Darth Rey. Dev is shocked since Rey in old galaxy defeated the Emperor and redeemed Ben Solo.

Rey torture Sig by spinning him around, vowing to rip him apart. Dev instead suggests torturing Scala with Force lightning. To save Scala, Sig offers The Cornerstone of the Galaxy to him. Before the Sith Lord can seize it, a mysterious hooded figure uses the Force to construct a wall of bricks between the Sith, Sig and Scala. He reveals himself as Jedi Master Bobarian Afol, whom Sig recognizes as the guy he saw at the temple. They flee as Dev begins slicing through the wall with his Sith lightsaber.

They cross the bridge but find their path blocked by Ackbar troopers armed with a mounted turbolaser cannon. Master "Bob" uses the Force to turn the cannon into three mouse droids, impressing Sig. The three flee to the spaceport where Scala has her starship parked. On the way, they are joined by Servo. Sig is relieved to see Servo. Bob says that Servo told him about Sig and his brother Dev. When Sig asks how Servo remembers the old galaxy, Bob explains that Servo was trapped with them in the temple when it collapsed, shielding them from the change.

Scala says she can't believe the "other galaxy" stuff is true. Before they can board her starship, Darth Devastator destroys it with his starfighter. Master Bob uses the Force to rebuild her starship into a new one that resembles an LAAT gunship. When Sig asks about his brother Dev, Bob explains that he is no longer his brother but a Sith Lord who happens to look like his brother, adding that there is nothing good left inside his brother. Sig protests but boards the gunship, which Scala flies.

Dev shoots down their starship and dislodges several pieces of rock from a stony arch. Sig panics but Master Bob uses the Force to turn the rocks into podracer engines. Dev and his X-fighters continue the pursuit. Dev blasts one of the escaping starship's podracer engines. Bob turns the engines into walker legs. As they descend down a cliff, Bob tells Scala to trust him. He rebuilds the starship as a quadjumper, telling Scala to prove herself as a pilot. Scala takes the quadjumper into space and then hyperspace. Dev scowls with rage.

Enter Jedi Bob[]

In hyperspace, Bob chastises Sig for removing the Cornersrone, creating a new galaxy where everyone and everything in it was reassembled. Sig tells Scala that in his galaxy his brother is not evil, the rebels won and her father is still alive. He vows to make everything right again. Scala is sad when Sig mentions her father. She tells Sig that the rebels are losing the war in this galaxy but reluctantly agrees to help Sig even though people may forget.

Bob tells Sig to concentrate on the Cornerstone. Sig reluctantly complies with Bob telling him to focus on something important to him. Sig assembles an object, which confirms Bob's belief that Sig is a Force Builder, a secret Jedi sect dedicated to creation. Bob explains that a breakaway sect of dark siders known as Sith Breakers emerged, dedicated not to building but to tearing down. The conflict between the Jedi and the Sith Breakers undermined the fabric of the galaxy. In response the Force Builders created a Cornerstone to hold it together. As long as the temple was intact, the galaxy could not be unmade.

Bob was the Temple's sworn guardian but says he failed on his watch. He recalls that the legends say that a new temple will appear when the old one is destroyed. Bob thinks that they can use the Cornerstone to restore the galaxy. Sig is unwilling to take on the role of restoring the Cornerstone but Bob says he has no choice because the Cornerstone has bonded to him since he released it. He tells Sig that he must become a Force Builder. Sig is reluctant to be a hero and says he is a storyteller. Bob replies that Sig is now the story. When Scala asks if Sig is ready to become a Force Builder, Sig tries to back out but Bob says that his training begins now.

Hunted[]

At Dev's palace, Darth Rey reports via hologram that the fugitives have escaped. Enraged that Sig has taken the Cornerstone and has the audacity to claim that he is his brother, he places a bounty on Sig. Meanwhile, Scala's quadjumper exits hyperspace and she contacts Porkins, who responds that the incident on Corellia was not his fault.

For his first Force Building lesson, Bob asks Sig to take Servo apart and rebuild him. Sig insists that Servo is alright in his present configuration but Bob suggests adding rocket boosters, personal shields and blaster upgrades. Sig tells Servo to stand still while he meditates and incorporates two rings to Servo’s chassis. Servo now reveals that he can speak Galactic Basic Standard and thanks Sig for upgrading his linguistic abilities. Bob apologizes for not being a better teacher due to his prolonged period of loneliness on Fennesa.

Their quadjumper is soon attacked by several Y-wing-like starships piloted by Ewok bounty hunters, whom Scala explains have a fearsome reputation throughout the galaxy. Yesi leads the Ewok ships through an asteroid field and turns around, taking out two ships. She fires at an asteroid, with the debris striking an Ewok ship. An Ewok ship adjusts its thrusters and pursued the quadjumper. She flies towards a clearing in the asteroid field just as a gold-coloured Naboo Royal Starship exits hyperspace. The starship is flown by C-3PO, who has become a bounty hunter.

C-3PO joins the Ewok fleet in pursuing the quadjumper, knocking out its hyperdrive. Servo comes to the rescue by plugging into the ship. With the Navigation computer only able to do one jump, Bob tells them to let the Force guide them before telling Scala to fly faster. The quadjumper takes a second hit and descends into a watery planet. As they plunge into the ocean, Sig uses the Force to form a raft beneath the quadjumper. Bob compliments Sig for putting his training into action.

When Bob asks how the bounty hunters found them, Scala suggests they were listening to their frequency before apologizing. Scala says that she is not on good terms with the Rebellion because she accidentally gave the location of a rebel base. When Sig asks, she said that she forgot to check an Imperial tracker on her starship during a smuggling operation. She said she was in a hurry and forgot to check. Bob reminds her that going too fast can be as bad as going too slowly.

The Mos Eisley Marina[]

Servo asks where they are. The Quadjumper travels to the Mos Eisley Marina, prompting Sig to realize that they are on a watery Tatooine. Sid explains that Tatooine is the homeworld of the powerful Luke Skywalker in his galaxy. They soon discover that Skywalker is a podracer pilot in this galaxy. Skywalker is second place behind Max Rebo. Skywalker uses the Force to rip apart Rebo's podracer, which crashes into the water. Skywalker wins the race and taunts Rebo.

Sig and Scala react with shock while Bob dismisses Skywalker as a cheat. Sig tries to remain optimistic but is embarrassed when Skywalker sings a tune thrashing Rebo. When Skywalker docks by their pier, he refuses to take autographs. Sig asks about how he won the race, which Skywalker responds to defensively. He reluctantly agrees to invite Sig and his companions to Mos Eisley Marina Cantina. Inside the cantina, Sig rubs shoulders with Dr Cornelius Evazan and Ponda Baba, who say they like him.

When Bob and Sig question Skywalker about his use of the Force for selfish purposes, Skywalker denies being Force-sensitive. Sig explains Skywalker's story in the old galaxy. Upon learning about Skywalker's clash with his father Darth Vader, Ben Solo's betrayal, Skywalker's exile to Ahch-To and last stand, the new Skywalker regards this as a hard pass. The new Skywalker is dismissive of a life of tragedy and sacrifice and suggests that not everyone wants the galaxy to go back to the way it was. When Sig reminds Skywalker he was a hero, he replies that he prefers being Luke of Tatooine and walks away.

Bob comments that being a hero can be a difficult. When Sig says he is a hero, Bob denies being one. Bob says that the dark side is noisy like an aggressive Gamorrean while the light side is a whisper in the back of your mind. Sig is alarmed when Maul appears and tries to chat with Scala. While Maul tries to be diplomatic, Sig does not trust him. When Scala suggests Maul could help them contact the Rebellion, Sig explains that Maul in his galaxy is pure evil and a Sith. After seeing Maul handling a device, Sig panics and tells the group to leave.

Skirmish with the Sith[]

Outside the cantina, they are confronted by Darth Rey and a squad of Ackbar troopers. Rey demands that they surrender the Cornerstone and wields a Double-bladed lightsaber. Bob draws his green lightsaber. When the troopers open fire, Bob uses the Force to construct a solar collector as a wall. Rey engages with Bob in a lightsaber duel, and quickly gains the upper hand. However, Bob reveals that he was distracting her so that Sig could encase her inside a box.

The group cheer as a ship resembling the Millennium Falcon lands nearby. However, the ship has a darker paint job. Several Sith including Darth Rose Tico, Darth Nubs, Darth Kit Fisto, Darth Rusty, Darth Jawa and Darth Jar Jar exit the Dark Falcon. Servo comments that this galaxy doesn't follow the Rule of Two while Sig reacts with bemusement and shock to the roster of Sith. Darth Devastator exits the starship and says that he is more than Sig's former big brother. After freeing Darth Rey, he vows to use the Cornerstone to destroy his enemies and lay waste to their planets.

Dev seizes the Cornerstone from Sig, promoting Bob to engage in a tug of war with him. As the Sith corner Sig and his friends, Sig remarks "that this galaxy is so messed up." The episode ends on a cliffhanger against the beat of Duel of the Fates."
