Pedd Four was an astronomical object[3] located in the D'Astan sector[1] of the New Territories portion of[2] the Outer Rim Territories.[1] It occupied the fourth orbital position[3] within the Pedd system, and the Celanon Spur hyperlane connected it to the Ord Cestus and Celanon systems.[2]
When the extragalactic Yuuzhan Vong invaded the galaxy in 25 ABY, the Mandalorian Protectors under the leadership of Boba Fett, although publicly allied with the invaders, covertly provided intelligence to the New Republic. However, the latter government believed the information to be false and, disregarding it, redeployed troops from the[3] Ciutric sector[4] world of New Holgha in order to defend Pedd Four,[3] which had become a New Republic stronghold by 26 ABY.[2]
As a result, New Holgha fell to the Yuuzhan Vong, with Fett's lieutenant Goran Beviin notifying Fett about the reallocation of the New Republic military resources to Pedd Four.[3] By 27 ABY, the Yuuzhan Vong had conquered the Pedd system, as well.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
Pedd Four was mentioned in the 2006 eBook Boba Fett: A Practical Man by Karen Traviss.[3] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Pedd system, and therefore Pedd Four, in grid square O-6.[2]
