Penguin Books, a division of Penguin Random House, is a London-based publishing company founded in 1935 by Sir Allen Lane. Initially a publisher of inexpensive but high-quality paperbacks, it has expanded into the flagship imprint of the Penguin Group of publishers, a subsidiary of Pearson PLC.
Penguin has published two children's activity books related to the animated television series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, as well as Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Head-to-Head. Its imprints include Ladybird Books, a children's book imprint which has also published Star Wars books.
