The maintenance officer at the Peragus Mining Facility was responsible for the repairs of droids—mining, excavation, fire suppression and maintenance—at the facility.

Biography

When the Jedi Exile arrived at the Peragus Mining Facility, the maintenance officer was given an HK-50 disguised as a protocol droid. One of the miners let it be known that the Exile was a Jedi and Coorta started thinking to sell her to the Exchange, which the heads of the facility opposed. A number of explosions were also occurring about that time, and droids malfunctioned and attacked miners, which landed many miners in medbay. The droids were undergoing binary decay, which the maintenance officer could find no reason for. Accidents became more frequent, he was accused of assisting Coorta, and tensions rose. He locked down the airlock system in an attempt to keep out the mining droids, but they made it through the door and killed him.

The HK-50 droid used the maintenance officer's voice to trick Coorta into helping corner the Exile.
