Permacite was a rare metal used to to reinforce building plating. Permacite could only be found on the planet of Garidia. It was a renewable resource created by the planet's core. It was unknown why the core did this. The entire Garidian mantle was made of permacite and all mined permacite was replenished in one standard year.
It was extremely hard to mine and was very expensive, though almost all buildings and skyscrapers were required to use permacite to reinforce them. However, it was very strong and easy to use.
