A personality matrix was a droid component that was responsible for the knowledge base and personality of the droid in which it was installed.[1] Personality matrices, such as the Triple-Zero protocol personality matrix, were able to store information and knowledge, but also personality quirks which contributed to the droid's individuality and behavior.[1]
