Petranaki was a type of gladiatorial beast-battle. These fights were common practice among Geonosians, who constructed Petranaki Arena for executing prisoners and providing entertainment.[1] Two Jedi, Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Senator Padmé Amidala were once determined to be victims of Petranaki.[2]
