Phase-knives were knives developed on the planet Philaxia. They were popular before the planet was discovered by the Galactic Republic. They appeared as only a knife hilt but when activated it projected a weightless but solid blade. Its blade was sharper than a vibroblade, but its balance made it difficult to wield.[1]
