Phoenix Squadron was a starfighter squadron of RZ-1 A-wing interceptors that served as part of the New Republic's starfighter corps during the Galactic Civil War. The squadron participated during the Battle of Jakku.[1]
During the battle, Phoenix Squadron, along with Phantom Squadron were tasked with taking out the Galactic Empire's air to space turbolaser batteries.[2]
