- "The ore barons have forged and hardened phrik for bones. We build palaces where others would struggle to even mine."
- ―Baron Rubix
Phrik was a rare and robust alloy.[4] Phrik was mined on Gromas, in the Perkell sector,[1] and Tatooine in the Arkanis sector. The Jedi Archive once contained an ancient staff made of the metal, which was on display at the Valo Republic Fair and briefly wielded by Lourna Dee, a Tempest Runner of the Nihil.[5] The dual lightsabers created by Darth Sidious during his apprenticeship under Darth Plagueis were made from phrik.[2]
Electrostaffs built by the Baktoid Armor Workshop were also made of phrik,[6] making them resistant,[7] but not invulnerable, to lightsabers.[8] Vicrul's scythe was also made of the material.[9]
