"Geonosians called picadors ride orrays in the arena. They use rods to cruelly prod and zap the other beasts to keep them in line."
An artist, in his journal[src]

Picadors,[2] also known as Geonosian picadors,[3] or Geonosian wranglers, were Geonosians who rode Orrays in the Petranaki arena.[2] During the unsuccessful attempted execution of Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Padmé Amidala, picadors were tasked with ensuring that the creatures deployed to execute the trio kept their focus on the prisoners. One such picador attempted to control a Nexu with its static pike and was consequently eaten by the deadly creature.[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

Picadors first appeared in the 2002 film Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones.[1]
