The Pii system's first planet was a fiery ball of rock that orbited the Pii sun. The planet was located in the Arkanis sector[2] in the Slice portion of the Outer Rim Territories.[1] The planet was a seven-day hyperspace journey away from the Perlemian Trade Route, like the rest of the Pii system,[2] and along the Old Corellian Run and the Trans Gulf Route hyperlanes.[1]
The planet, along with the rest of the Pii system, was originally located on the super-hyperroute known as the Corellian Run. When that hyperspace route changed its course[1] at some point between 11,000 BBY and 4000 BBY[3] and as a result no longer ran through the Pii system, the planet remained on the Old Corellian Run.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
The Pii system's first planet was first mentioned in "The Greel Wood Haven," an article written by C. Robert Carey and featured in the sixth issue of Star Wars Adventure Journal, a roleplaying magazine that was published by West End Games in May of 1995 for their Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[2] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Pii system, and therefore the planet itself, in grid square R-16.[1]

In addition, The Essential Guide to Warfare depicts that same section of the hyperlane as still being a part of the Corellian Run by 11,000 BBY.
