Pippip 3,[5] also known as Pippip,[1] was a planet[7] located in grid square Q-4 on the Standard Galactic Grid,[1] in the Pippip system within the Illisurevimurasi sector of the galaxy's Outer Rim[3] and New Territories regions.[2] It was the homeworld of the human Resistance pilot Tallissan Lintra,[5] and was populated by creatures such as dire hounds and whellays.[6] The planet was connected by[1] the Listehol Run[4] hyperspace route to the celestial bodies Mirial and Gigor.[1]

Sometime after the Galactic Civil War, Lintra's parents established a farm on Pippip 3,[8] where the young pilot used her father's old RZ-1 A-wing interceptor as a cropduster.[5] Later, during the evacuation of D'Qar amidst the First Order-Resistance War, Lintra remembered Pippip 3's fauna while comparing First Order TIE fighters going through the Resistance defensive formation to dire hounds loose among whellays.[6]

Behind the scenes[]

Pippip 3 was first mentioned in the 2017 activity book Star Wars: A-wing Deluxe Book and 3D Wood Model, written by Michael Kogge.[9]

This assumes that the name "Listehol Run," as used in "Scarif and Other Planets in the Outer Rim" — Star Wars Encyclopedia, applies to the canon hyperspace route depicted on the map that matches the depiction of the Star Wars Legends route with the same name in The Essential Atlas per Jason Fry (@jasoncfry.bsky.social.) on Bluesky (post on January 3, 2025): "They are indeed the same. Same galaxy, same map. In the rare event something needs to be changed, it will be discussed. (In response to: Hi @jasoncfry.bsky.social, was hoping you could confirm for Wookieepedia purposes that the hyperspace routes depicted on the Galaxy Map given out at Celebration are intended to be the same routes as in Legends. Sorry to bother, but would make our lives much easier to have it confirmed!)" (screenshot).
