The pirate attack in the Mid Rim was an attack that the Dire Skulls pirates led against a refugee ship in the Mid Rim. The forces of the Galactic Republic and the Jedi Order were able to intervene and succeeded in ensuring that the refugees were saved from the pirates. Following the fight, the Jedi Knight Tau Idair and her Padawan Arn Peralun were dispatched to pursue the remaining pirates. It was hoped that Idair and Peralun would be able to recover additional intelligence about the attack when the remaining pirates were captured.[1]
