- "Your pitdog jumps me in an alleyway and demands I bring her here, threatening me in the street, risking what little security I have left."
- ―Feric Oranalli, to Werth Plouth, referring to Yana Ro
A pitdog was a type of dog.[1] In 382 BBY,[2] the Disciples of the Whills chief archivist Feric Oranalli was intimidated by the Evereni Path of the Open Hand cult member Yana Ro into taking her to see Werth Plouth—the Path's Herald—who had been imprisoned in the Temple of the Kyber in the Holy City on[1] the Mid Rim[3] moon Jedha. After they arrived at Plouth's cell, Oranalli informed him of what Ro had done, referring to her as his pitdog.[1]
