A planetary ring (or simply ring) was a circular band of small bodies orbiting around a planet in a flat disc-shaped region.[1] The rings revolving around Geonosis[2] and Bothawui were rocky in nature.[3] The rings of the gas giant Hudalla were some of the largest in the galaxy.[1] Although ring systems could constitute navigational hazards,[4] some were mined for metal ore.[5] The planet Lah'mu also had a planetary ring.[6]
