- "Let's keep looking, Neeku. Maybe we'll get lucky."
"Well, the odds of finding those children here are akin to winning the Platform Lottery. Twice." - ―Kazuda Xiono to Neeku Vozo
The Platform Lottery was a lottery that the mechanic Neeku Vozo considered difficult to win.[1] In 34 ABY,[2] Vozo and the Resistance operative Kazuda Xiono searched for the children Kel and Eila while aboard the supertanker fuel depot Colossus, hoping to turn them in for a 20,000 credit bounty on their heads. During their initiative, Vozo commented that their chances of finding the pair were low, comparing it to the odds of winning the Platform Lottery twice.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
The Platform Lottery was mentioned in "The Children from Tehar,"[1] the sixth episode of the first season of the Star Wars Resistance animated television series, which aired on November 4, 2018.[3]
