"You've got the Force around you boiling like pletik soup."
―Laranth Tarak mentioning the soup when speaking with Jax Pavan[src]

Pletik soup was a type of soup that was boiled.[1] In 19 BBY,[2] on the planet Coruscant, Laranth Tarak, a Gray Paladin, told the Jedi Knight, Jax Pavan, that the Force was boiling around him like Pletik soup before he asked Tarak to help him find 10-4TO, a droid that Pavan's dead Master, Even Piell, tasked him with locating.[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

Pletik soup was first mentioned in Coruscant Nights I: Jedi Twilight, a 2008 novel written by Michael Reaves.[1] On March 11, 2011,[3] "Citadel Rescue," an episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, retconned Even Piell's death to occur in the episode,[4] instead of the novel,[1] making it ambiguous how the events of the novel fit in with the altered continuity.
