- Beed: "Well, with the loss of his giant Collor Pondrat Plug-F Mammoth Split-X racer, its unlikely he'll..."

The Plug-F Mammoth Split-X engine was a Podracer engine produced by Collor Pondrat and used around the time of the Invasion of Naboo and was still seen in the galaxy during the Galactic Civil War.
Characteristics[]

A side view of a Plug-F Mammoth
The Plug-F Mammoth Split-X engine was an intimidating Podracer engine developed by Collor Pondrat to favor thrust over aerodynamics. One of the first factory builds created, the Mammoth was notable for its split-X configuration, which were chem-boosted with tradium fuel, pressurized with a patented quold runium pressurization system, and activated with ionized injectrine to make them among the fastest and most powerful air-breathing turbine engines on the market. However, the engines were among the most fragile and temperamental to run due to the caustic and volatile tradium fuel spontaneously combusting inside them, which wore them down enough to require complete disassembly for repairs.[2]
Though boasting some of the largest engines on the market, the Mammoth could easily be maneuvered. A licensed Incom Mk. IV Starweaver flight control suite, equipped with maneuvering jets and advanced variable control allowed the Mammoth to fly easily in the air, making it one of the top five best-selling factory customs for decades. During the Galactic Civil War, the Mammoth declined in sales as Collor Pondrat debuted the Plug-2 Behemoth and Plug-G Gargantua.[2]
